Spillin' the tea on FB ads...

Yo.

Got a bit busy today.

Hopped on a call with CEO.

Helped my mom in the garden.

I forgot about this newsletter, to be honest.

So let me just go straight in…

Today’s email is all about nailing Facebook Ads.

I’m not an expert by any means,

But since most people don’t know crap about writing ads…

I can spill some tea.

Let’s start, shall we?

1. Basics

Look, buddy…

You gotta at least make it somewhat attractive.

You don’t need a killer copy.

You don’t need the most attractive offer on the market.

Don’t make it look like written by a toddler.

And don’t make these very common mistakes:

  • Not being concise

  • Not using simple language

  • Trying to sell instead of help

  • Focusing on too many things at once

  • Talking about features instead of benefits

  • Using complex words no one understands

  • Focusing on yourself rather than your customers

2. Headline 101

Nailing the headline is literally 92% of your success.

Literally.

So don’t overcomplicate this.

  • Make it catchy

  • Make it simple

  • Make it interesting

  • Give numbers and %s

  • Focus on desire/problem

  • Make it easy to understand

  • Make sure the whole headline fits before the “See more…” button

Here are examples so I don’t leave you empty-handed:

3. Meat

The body of the ad is like 8% of your success.

But you don’t wanna ruin it and forfeit your chances of making a huge bank.

So keep this in mind:

  • Simple language.

  • Don't be desperate.

  • Conversational tone; write how you speak.

  • Don't focus on yourself, your business, or what you do.

  • 3 CTAs; 1 after the headline, 1 in the middle, 1 at the end (if the copy is long).

  • No big chunks of text; separate them into paragraphs and leave white spaces between them.

  • Focus on what your audience gets from you, how you help them, and how you change their life.

Now…

Implementing these tips can really save you from burning your money away on ads.

But this is not all.

There’s also a more psychological level to them.

It’s so important that no matter how good your copy is…

Your ads will flop like crazy.

You will lose money.

And you won’t make a single sale.

I will talk about this on Sunday 2nd of July, 9:15 am EST.

Stay tuned.

If you’re a brand/business struggling with sales - listen up.

I can’t help everyone and I don’t know if I can even help you, but…

I’m onboarding busy folks who want to 2.2X their clicks and 2.7X their leads (overnight) without paying a huge price tag and giving away brand ownership to an agency.
