LinkedIn rant time
3 seconds till self-destruction
Hey, buster…
Did you ever wonder:
Why do people say LinkedIn is full of braindeads?
Well...
If you've ever taken a step into the abyss... you know why.
From my experience?
Hordes of sheep ready to sell their left kidney for some inbound leads.
Virtually wanking off to even a basic concept of leads.
Everyone with a quarter of a brain to dump this platform has the same eerie feeling about LinkedIn.
Artificial and fake relationships.
There's a very unique phenomenon on there.
People spamming mass "connections" to people they:
Don't know
Don't care about
Don't have anything in common with
Ironic.
“Connecting” with other people just for the sake of making them follow you back so both of you have slightly higher numbers on your profile.
Desperate as hell.
Hey I wanted to connect with you because I liked your content!
So just follow me back or something!
*Proceeds to mass send it to 230 people in the next 24h*
You know what’s even crazier?
I seemed to have been shadowbanned in January this year.
My impressions dropped like 3X.
From average ~400-700 impressions to ~50-150 maximum.
Out of the blue. No explanation.
So I dumped the platform. Knew no one would see my content. And switched to IG.
I posted 3 random posts in a span of 6 months which all got at most 100 impressions.
But my follower count?
Went from 500 (when I stopped posting)...
To 700.
200 ChatGPT-generated NPCs sent me a connection even though I haven't posted anything.
Does this happen on 𝕏?
Hell no.
Why?
Because in order for you to get ANY followers you need to keep posting, engaging and sending DMs.
But on LinkedIn?
Just create an account.
And "people" will flood your DMs and just aimlessly click Connect button because they're so desperate for a follow back.
Bunch of “DR Copywriters” who’ve never wrote a single piece of copy in their life.
“Content writers” who can’t even write in proper grammar.
“Marketers” who only know how to write coherent sentences at “5th-grade level”.
LinkedIn will be gone in a few years max.
But I genuinely feel like 𝕏 will be THE platform.
X is here to stay 🤓
Well, you’re not.
Go away now.
