The one reason people avoid you

Like a pile of horse crap on the street

Yo.

You want some money?

Yes?

I thought so.

Do you know how I know?

Because you look like a beggar.

And people avoid you.

They don’t want to have anything to do with you.

Now you might be asking yourself…

Iwo, what in the Kentucky Fried F*ck are you talking about?!

In the last email, I said this:

I touched on the 1st point - “Actually doing your research”.

Called out retweet bafoons and other guys who just mass DM and don’t put an ounce of personalized element in their message.

And I gave you a pinky promise that today…

I will give you huge value on…

"Not sounding like a street beggar”

This mostly applies to the conversation AFTER Mr. Prospect replies to you.

So.

When it comes to the cold DM…

Don’t be kind.

Meaning?

Don’t say:

  • I would appreciate a reply

  • Please reply to me

  • Thank you

🤮

You REEK of desperation.

Stop.

You’re being “kind” because you think they will think positively of you.

Or that maybe there’s a higher chance of landing them.

Total. Bullshit.

You sound like those LinkedIn Pakistani “Let’s connect” braindeads that mass spam connections.

(No hate towards Pakistanis ofc)

Secondly…

If you somehow made your way into the conversation…

And Mr. Prospect took a leap of faith to talk with you…

Here’s what you DON’T say:

  • I will/can help you

  • You’re the perfect prospect/client for me

  • I can do everything - emails, landing pages, sales pages, ads, sales funnels, fix the plumbing, etc.

Etc.

Basically anything that makes you look desperate, needy and gives Mr. Prospect a bad vibe.

But why shouldn’t you say it?

  • You can’t help everyone

  • They’re 99% not the perfect prospect for you

  • You can’t do everything

And what kinda vibe do you give off to Mr. Prospect?

  • You’re thirsty for clients

  • You’re focusing on earning money and not getting to know their situation and solving their issues

  • You’re trying to grab onto any opportunity

  • You struggle to land a client

And probably a bunch of other stuff.

And last but definitely not least…

Don’t be pushy.

I mean…

We all were pretty bad at sending cold emails/DMs at some point.

Double-texting.

Spamming them with 10s of messages.

Emotionally reacting to them ghosting us.

Which only makes you message them once more just for them to ghost you again.

Here’s a big fat pill to swallow:

Even though these “people” can be CEOs, Founders, etc…

They can be more unprofessional than LinkedIn “DR Copywriters”.

They will ghost you without mercy if they:

  • Think they already have everything they could squeeze out of you for free

  • Were overthinking too much and changed their mind (just because)

  • Are currently busy with something else

But if you’re the one to reach out to them…

They don’t usually give a single fuck about you, bro.

That’s why even if they’re “busy”…

They can’t spend 3 minutes to just reply to the last email/message you sent to them.

Don’t be surprised if you see a reply from them after 2 weeks saying something like:

Uhhh sorry I was just busy, can we reschedule the call again?

I’m speaking from experience.

If they keep:

  • Ghosting

  • Rescheduling

  • Anything else that shows they don’t give a single F

Drop them.

Find another prospect.

You can be surprised how there are ones out there…

That show genuine interest.

And show at least an ounce of respect towards you.

Kapish?

If you’re a brand/business struggling with sales - listen up.

I can’t help everyone and I don’t know if I can even help you, but

I’m onboarding busy folks who want to 6.1X their clicks and 3.3X their leads (overnight) without paying a huge price tag and giving away brand ownership to an agency.
